The key to an effective Property Title is - short, sweet and to the point. For instance, Ski in/Ski out House in Vail, or Waterfront Villa near Disney. Don't put driving directions here. You can do that when you edit your Property Location later on this form. One thing to keep in mind, your Property Title will be displayed on the Search Results window.

You can enter partial numbers for BR's and BA's like 1.25 and 4.5. Don't exaggerate on the numbers because you will find that if a customer stays at your vacation property they are likely to come back time and time again if your information is accurate. You wouldn't want to misrepresent what your property really is.

Enter the maximum amount of occupants that can be accommodated comfortably. If your property could hold more occupants, explain that in the description of your property below. Typically in the US, maximum accommodation for a property is defined by local fire codes.

Property Description is where you let it rip. Describe your property as eloquently as possible. Include all desirable qualities of your property as well as any nuances that may effect the renters' comfort. Provide feedback from previous renters and referrals if appropriate. Just remember that the point is to get the customer to email you, once they do that, you're off to the races. Be sure you enter things like No Smoking, No Pets or activities that you don't want to have at your property. Also, address whether or not your property is family oriented. Please refrain from using "special characters."

Describe the amenities available at your property. Area Features near your property are described next. Enter things like phone, pool, microwave, linens, etc. Also, be specific on things like TV's. Do you have cable, Nintendo, VCR's and how many.

Area Features are activities and attractions like Fishing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Snorkeling, Swimming, Casino's, Theme Parks, etc.

Keep in mind that when you fill out the Property Information below, people will be using other internet sites to pinpoint the location of your property. Folks will input your address into MapBlast and Mapquest to generate driving directions or to get a feel for exactly where your property is relative to where they want to be.

Use the Location Description to describe the properties proximity to local attractions, landmarks or points of interest.

If you have already reviewed listings on FRBO, you probably noticed that our Property Rates are displayed in a table. There is also a "comments" field where you can mention other fees and taxes or any other additional costs that could be incurred by the renter. Owners sometimes use the table and sometimes they don't. We feel that using the table makes the listing a little "neater". The table is set up in the following format: Date/Season, Daily Rate, Weekly Rate and Monthly Rate. Dates can be like 12/01/00 - 3/30/01 or you can enter a season like Summer. If you don't want to display your rates, just enter "email or call for rates" in the Rate Comments box below.
