Full of charming details, Casita Truchas has hand crafted furniture and accessories and southwestern accents. Perfectly located in El Salto, the Casita is midway between the historic Town ofTaos and the world famous Taos Ski Valley. It is 1 1/2 miles off the main highway between these two, offering the peace and serenity of a rural location. Since the 1/2 mile private gravel road on which we are located can be snowy in winter(we hope!), 4 wheel drive vehicles are preferred during ski season, although front wheel drive is usually just fine.
